I really like these comparisons. I have an american battleship, destroyer and a tugboat for scale. A bit bigger spread but also quite fun to compare.

Had an American carrier, cruiser, and destroyer, as well as a Japanese carrier, cruiser, and destroyer on the work bench at the same time. bottom to top, Fletcher class, Kagero class, USS Astoria, IJN Tone, IJN Shoho, USS Wasp. All still in work.
