good evening to all, I'm glad to present you my last scratchbuilding project. It's the USS Franklin D Roosevelt, depicted during 1966-67, during her first and last Vietnam Cruise, just before the ''austere modernization''.
The hull was made using a different thecnique; infact i used some cardboard from cereal boxes, and paperboard, then I added the bow and stern using balsa wood. The flight deck was cutted from cereal-box cardboard

as usual, and then i added the sponsons made of the same material and balsa.
Now she need the island structure
