Hi,

impressive in many ways and I like the originality of your method ! Again one of the charms of our hobby : how to come to a final quality result with totally different techniques and materials, wood, plastic, sheetmetal... or cardboard.

Please go on with your fine craftsmanship and good quality photos to share !

Greetings from Omaha beach (well, two miles from...).

hello amdownunder

I use to model building every kind of paper, and cardboard, pressboard (0.1 to 1mm - to laser cutting). Range of thicknnes is from about 0,1 to 2mm. Everything I cut use laser device. Glued use a contact glue or glue for wood. I use copies from original bismarck shipyards drawings bought in bundesarchive and huge quantity of photos a mamy books and movies from the wreck. First watch all I have for element than I make a project in Autocad and finally cut be the laser and glue.

Hi, wow another ship built out of paper, what are you using, my model is being built out of 1 mm cardboard sheeting, nice and cheap, be keeping a close interest on your build, I have made a few mistakes on the way, still stuck at the Bow, the hardest part of my ship.

This is an amazing piece of work. However I am sure the big work is underneath, I mean the hundreds of accurate and precise drawings involved in such a project must be outstanding, congratulations for your fantastic project.
