It's already at sea - take a look at the RN's newest fishery protection boats - I say boats cos to have something that big with only a 30mm gun on the front is ridiculous

One of those interesting "blue sky" type concepts, it'd be nice to think something might come of this idea but I doubt it. Saying that, the unorthodox twin island layout for the CVF was a BMT design and that got selected for production so who knows.
