Hi everyone, I am looking for downloadable pdf file with the instruction for Add-on Set. I can't find it on the Pontos webpage. Can anyone point me, where should I look for it? And the last question: in this thread some of You suggested opening a new thread with Pontos instruction support group Has it happened? Could You post a link if yes? Thanks in advance, W.

So you can use one in two materials though we recommend to use brass one SP means spare part. Thank you Keumho Kim

Well, my Pontos (2012) set included some S/S parts as well as identical brass parts and I've yet to hear an valid answer as to why. I didn't use any of the Pontos metal turret tops and those came in both metals. As of right now, it seems I saw somewhere on this forum recently that Kim was no longer at Pontos, so I haven't a clue as to his replacement. Hope this helps (?)

Mr. Kim,
I have just received my 23003F1 set and started on the crane and aircraft launchers. I notice that there are two versions of the PE for the launchers, brass and stainless steel. The instructions, as far as I can tell, do not address the differences. Also when assembling the crane I noticed on the fret that there are some parts marked SP with no reference in the instructions.
Could you please let me know which configurations the brass vs. stainless steel is used and why the parts marked SP.
I have also sent this message via email.
Thanks,
Iran Ausley

Just email Kim @ Pontos help and ask about this. It is about 99.5% correct - I had sent Kim one update (correction) a while ago to make, whether that's been done, I can't tell you. The correction was an oversight on my part when I had him first layout and produce my deck back a couple years ago. This deck would also work for a mid-1950s version of the IOWA's with very little modification. Hope this helps,

Hello Kim
Is there anyway to have a list of numbers on extra parts included on the frets. I figured out firehoses and porthole parts. I see many doors and have not noticed if they are used. The set has so much details I hate not to use it, but hate to find out later it was extra I could have used. Thanks!

If there is any part missed, broken or eaten by Carpet Monster, please email to us. In most cases we have been supplied these extra parts to builders except Wooden deck. Woodendeck also can be supplied with some cost.

You're right - you will! Yes, it does come with some spares of the smaller PE parts. There are no spares for the resin parts, however.

These sets come with extra parts for some of the smaller and more fragile pieces I hope? I know I'm probably going to wreck a few 40mm ammo racks and loose a few 20mm gun parts....

Mr. Kim,
Can you still do a custom 1/200 wood deck for the 1968 version of Missouri sister New Jersey.? If so how do I go about getting one?
Thanks

We had designed these 751 and 752 for the kit part M8 of MK51. But poor effect after applying and this make us remove these from manual so these are unused parts. but if you satisfy with these parts, I will show the simple instruction. Thank you Keumho Kim

Does anyone know what these are:
1/200 Pontos PE Sheet #12 - USS MISSOURI/IOWA - Parts #751 and #752. I can't find any reference to these parts on the instruction sheets. I think they may go with the 20mm guns, but ???
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Hank
