Topic review - U.S.NAVY K-Ship in 1:700 and 1:600 scales - New model

Post subject:  U.S.NAVY K-Ship in 1:700 and 1:600 scales - New model  Reply with quote
A U.S.NAVY K Class of WW2 (the "K-Ship " to her crews) with enhanced details and specifically designed in Fine Detail plastic is now in my CLASSIC AIRSHIPS shop HERE.

The envelope is in two halves, each printed verticaly to ensure the best possible surface finish. The Control Car and Mobile Mooring Mast arrive neatly held within the hull to avoid loss and protect against damage (and to help to keep costs down!)

As with the still available SLS nylon version, the model can be completed with the airship attached to the mast or separate from it. A new feature however, is that the Mobile Mast can be revolved around the mast head with the base and tractor unit arranged in any position relative to the K-Ship

The K-Ships were the workhorses of the U.S.NAVY's LTA (lighter than air) arm and this model in 1:700 or 1:600 scale is long overdue.

Suitable decals are on my CA007 sheet.

Happy modelling!

Derek
