Regards Alan from UK Thank You Alan, so it looks like that I will be going with this set like through maze. Honestly, I start to think about switching to KA sets with other models...

Thanks Alan, doesn't work for me as no small box showing However, by right clicking in the relevant post and selecting - 'View Selection Source' a page opens with 'DOM Selection source' as the new tab. Right click inside this page and select 'Wrap long lines' the path to the pictures are highlighted in Blue. Hope this helps. Cheers Jabb PS - I'm on Windows 7, hope this works for other operating systems.

Hi all. I dont pretend to fully understand computers (if it don't work kick it!) but l have found (with Mr.Parks very kind guidance) that where the pictures are missing - small box showing with question mark - right click on the question mark and click on the line that comes up asking if you wish to open the picture in a new tab and lo and behold the picture is there!!!!. I have AppleMac so hope it works with Microsoft as well. I have just checked a good 20 of these question marks and all have shown the picture by doing this. If anybody is still having problems then PM me and l will try to download all the pictures and burn them to a CD and mail them. Hope l am not doing anything wrong in offering to do this. Just trying to help all other modellers on this splendid site.
Also be pleased to know if this works for all you other people. Fingers crossed in that it works.
Best Regards Alan

Mr. Parks pictures seem to have disappeared on all the related sites (Essex, Yorktown etc). Probably linked with the fact that he is no longer with them - now Infini model.
Thank goodness l downloaded all the pictures related to the sets that l bought before this happened.

Can someone please tell me what happened to Park's photos in this section? I've just got the Dreadnought and his upgrade set and would really like to see them

Dreadnought for Trumpeter kit may be started from next year. Some more details will be added than our previous old detail set for Zvezda kit. Thank you Keumho Kim

Kim, Consider myself another buyer for a Trumpeter release. I've had the kit in my stash waiting for this release.

Shipped 10days ago. It takes 7days to 2weeks to Europe generally. When you get our stuff, we would support until you finish your works. Thank you Keumho Kim

So no real issues with Pontos sets, I have 5 in the stash and have used two.
Instructions were a bit confusing at first if I was being harsh, a good study and build plan and problem solved.
Built Dreadnought and Duke of York and enjoyed both of them. Looking forward to the next one I use, and getting my hands on the Nelson set.
Cheers,
Si

I got improperly scribed turret tops in my Pontos 1/200 Iowa set (the only problem I've had in the 6 different Pontos sets I've bought over the past 3 years or so)... Freetime Hobbies got me a replacement fret in about 3 weeks. Every time someone complains about Pontos there seems to be a chorus of " Huh? that's not my experience with them at all!?" comments. Here's mine... Loving my Nelson set!

Ok Ack that you had a bad experience with this vendor but can you please take it to a private conversation between yourself and them? there is no point in continually trying to shame someone on this thread

It's been 2 weeks and still no news, this is ...a real shame, Make money on the back of the customers. My online model shop had to pay custom fees for the missing parts he'd already paid for, would you believe it ? TRUST PONTOS ...and hope for the best, disgusting, really.

I find your corporate attitude very rude and impolite, why can't you just send the parts at once and give news. This is my second purchase from Pontos and unless a goodwill gesture from you it's going to be the last one. I'll have to mention this in the different modelling forums where I belong, to warn other members and fellow modellers, it's only fair.
