Hi Philippe,

That's an SS Model kit. It's photographed on the same cutting board all their other kits are, has all the same items surrounding it as their other kits, and it's in the same blaze orange resin they use. it's just more GIGO...

Hi !
You may be right, but I am really surprised because these orange kits on the cutting board are never listed as SS Model in the ebay SS Model shop, as you can see below. And again, the quality of the kits and the prices are very different from the "grey" SS Model kits on this web page. So for me, they are two different brands. SS Model kits have numerous retailers, not the "orange" kits which have only two or three. Chinese mysteries ....

Maybe we (3D-WILD) should not comment on the product of SS-Models due to business ethics--but the design and quality look very poor from the photos, at least it is far away from our standard for a kit that can have this price LOL!

Looks to us they are just rushing out something before someone else does.

- hypothetical Shinano aircraft carrier air units (Zero, Jill, Judy, George, Sam, Grace, Myrt)---->Hard to say, depending on when Border will release the 1/350 Shinano as they announced. At this moment people have no kit to use these aircraft anyway (maybe some can use for WHATIF projects for Taiho etc.). If Border was just bragging about the Shinano plan, we may still release it whatsoever, but it may take the entire 2025 to find out!

There is already a 1/350 Shinano on the market :

Some of those aircraft would be perfect for a 1/350 scale USS United States CVA-58 aircraft carrier.
But to the best of my knowledge, nobody makes a plastic model kit of the CVA-58 in 1/350 scale. :(

A huge wave of 1950s USN aircraft not zombies are approaching!!

Modelers can use these aircraft for their 1:350 scale 1950s USN aircraft carriers such as Midway-class and Essex-class. The aircraft sets include 3D-printed aircraft, waterslide decal sheets, and PE rotary blades for helicopters!

Please check more details at https://3d-wild.com/collections/aircraft-model-kits
