A couple more in 1/700 from Evergreen strips. Like any other scratch build parts, sometimes good to make some extras and use the best ones. Attachment:

Hi everyone,
After a long delay I'm once again starting on my 1/350 scale Grosser Kurfurst. I've purchased my first Artwox deck, ever. I notice it has some PE parts, most notably the coal chute covers... or whatever they are called. There are some other small deck stuctures I'd like to replace. Some are simple shapes I can whittle from sprue or build up from sheet. But the skylights need a little more work and I'm coming up with no ideas.
Has anyone ever made some and have a method, or material ideas to share?
