Topic review - Scratchbuilding submarines
Author Message
Post subject:  Scratchbuilding submarines  Reply with quote
Anyone have any experience and tips with small scale, 1/700 submarine scratch building? I have a limited budget so don't want to spend a lot on resin kits.

Right now I'm thinking hardwood main body built up with styrene or wood sail and fins. Well sealed with primer and Mr Surfacer. I have a small lathe and significant experience with scratch building, just not subs.

Thanks in advance!
