Topic review - Yamato Hull Markings
Author Message
Post subject:  Yamato Hull Markings  Reply with quote
Hello ,
does anybody of you know if the Yamato Hull-markings are available in decals ( water-slide or dry-rub) in 1/200 scale , or close to ?
See the next 2 pictures of the Kure model , stern and bow side.
I suppose that getting these decals is solving only 1 part of the problem. The most important part is: how do I apply those markings in a clean / correct way ?
Also noticed that the red zone limit at the bow is between 112 and 114 and at the stern it is between 108 and 110. Why do they differ at the front and at the rear of the ship ?
110 What ? What is the unit of those markings ? Inches ?

So , if anybody has experience with applying hull-markings : feel free to comment and please let me know what markings you are using.

regards,

Katana
