Thing is, I did wash my parts before I did anything. Haven't cleaned the photoetch yet. I'll probably clean it with isopropyl alcohol. As for the primer, probably getting MM's white primer.

I found two things with their paints. Wash the styrene with soap and the brass with vinegar to clean them. I used Mr Surfacer primer. Had no issues myself. Krylon Matt finish will also work in place of primer.

I just bought 6 bottles of their paint for my future BB projects in ms21 camouflage. Is primer recommended before use? I'm asking because I tried it out with a brush on some spare parts and the paint does not want to adhere to the surface of bare styrene. MM and Tamiya would adhere just fine when I was testing those out. Anyone else experience this? I guess primer of some sort is needed. I will also be using photoetch and brass gun barrels, too, for my projects.
