Another great tip one that I learned from a fellow member named Herne is to spray the deck the wood color, then the top color. After it has dried several days take a pencil eraser and remove the pain by rubbing from the areas that you want to be worn. Hope this helps as well.

Spray the wood colour as the first colour, then spray with the appropriate stain colour (deck blue, etc). I was lucky when I did my Franklin that my coverage wasn't very throughout, and some of the underneath wood colour peeked out. You can sand some of the deck blue off afterwards, leaving the wood behind.
