I've now got most of the component parts on to this fairly easy to build kit. I may have to move the catapults a millimetre further outboard as in their fitted position the float plane's wing tip would clip the funnel as it launched.

HMS Exeter 1/700 from Aoshima.

Here's HMS Exeter (68) from Aoshima as she was in the Far East post-rebuild. Unfortunately, I don't have room for 1/350 scale kits or display cases so I'm going to have to fiddle around in 1/700.
