Here's a small update while I go through the finished pics. I made small jig to build the caged aerials.  I glued 2 lines of stretched sprue on there close to each other. Then I started placing the WEM aerial spaces between them. After that the remaining 2 lines were added.  My first time doing so elaborate rigging so I'm fairly happy of the outcome Here's a small update while I go through the finished pics.

I've pretty much finished the model now. Though I'm not gonna post the pictures until next weekend. I'm missing the caged aerials and in the meanwhile I'll add some
more details if I can find some more to add. I also thought this model deserves it's own display case so I ordered a custom made from germany. They were pretty cheap
so I'll give a small review when I recieve it. It's just an acrylic case so nothing super fancy though.

I revisited the railing details. As the ship has 2 types; solid and ones with wire running betweem them so I painted the wires with dark gray.

I glued the main superstructure to the hull aswell! I just ran a bead of CA over the seam and gave it some light sanding. In fear of damaging the ship and the paint job too much I didn't dare to make it a proper seamless fit. Not really ideal considering I've dealt with most of the seams up untill now but. After that I gave a light spray of the main colors and then weathered it to match the rest of the hull.   And now it's just details details and some details. Yes I kinda did finish the radar mast in one day! There's still somethings to add though but the etches themselves were pretty straightforward to build in my opinion. I've also done this kit years ago with all the kirovs, moskvas, udaloys and sovremennys in 1/350 aswell so I have done the same etches couple of times before already so I'm so to say familiar with them.  The windows are just gonna be painted with gloss black then krystal klear on top of that. I think it's a decent solution and I've done it to pretty much all my ships before.
