Image Image Image Image Yes I know the turrets are wrong. But this is a out the box with p.e build. Haven't made up my mind to have the round bridge or open. Hmmm! :scratch: Anyway come to that later.

Image Image Task Force One BigE.Long Beach,Bainbridge were getting to me. I needed a big change up. Started back on this. The box was cover in dust. So this got me off things that was not good. I will keep updates.

Should be very interesting to see this depicted. Far too many battleships of any kind are built and painted to be factory-fresh and pristine. Not very realistic and often failing to hold any interest.

Should be relatively easy since she is in Measure 21 and the hull shows the majority of the wear and tear. Here her paint appears more wet than anything else:

Thank You! I do have two other WWII 1/350 ships. A Northhampton resin that going to be rebuilted. A escort carrier that I haven't touch in 2yrs. So I do have my hands full. :wave_1:

That's a great subject to paint indeed!!!
Just look at all the chipped paint on that hull alone...
