Last two months I did't build this model.
And last week I have some progress:
- rebuild scuppers
- improve propeller
- rebuild front horizontal rudders (add end plates)
- rebuild stern horizontal rudders (Reduced span by 7 mm for each rudder, add rotation axis)
- rebuild stern vertical rudders (add rotation axis, rebuild form)
- install stern rudders to hull
- restored engraved panel lines

Hello everybody!
Last summer I was busy and together with my friend we were build a model of aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov (Trumpeter 1/350) with PE and scratchbuild stern (balconies, propellers, shafts, stern tubes, keel and stern profiles).
It took 4 months.

My IJN Haguro 1/700 waits his airplanes and figures. It's a big hard work.
So, after that I want to build simple model.
And this model is modern Zvezda kit - K-551 Vladimir Monomakh Borei-class SSBN

Last weekends I started to build model.
1. cut through scuppers
2. make boxes behind the scuppers and paint them in black
3. assemble rocket mines, containers, missiles
4. assemble hull
5. start to remove plastic shagreen from surfaces and deck

For standing model I will use Adlers Nest naval model display stands (set M)
Earlier I want to cut through the grates on the bottom of hull, but I don't find good PE lattice to replace their plastic imitation.
