Thanks guys The accommodation ladders both sides. A single accommodation with the middle landing. If you want to mount it on the port side you have to reverse bend the lower piece. May end up cutting the PE chain to make it more taunt. The Rodney "Welcome Mat" on the aft port ladder. I believe that's all the brass the ship gets. There is still some for the aircraft.
Thanks guys :thumbs_up_1:

Thanks Jim The 30' and 50' swing booms. Each boom has holes in the end for the PE piece. Each needs to be drilled a bit deeper and reamed for the PE to fit. Not sure if I am going mount the 50' swing arms as they seem to be removed in plans after the Sept. 41 refit along with the grabs rails the led down to them. If anyone knows I would be interested in the answer. Both 30' swing were mounted starboard as per Pontos instructions with the other at 6" guns location. Repositioned bow flag staff more forward and added small chokes beside the fairleads.
Thanks Jim

Thanks for the help Jim, am happy in the way they turned out. Couple more assemblies done. My Dane pup scratched my eye taking me out for several days. Thought this was a nice deck shot of boom from 1940 Paravane Booms. Bow and Stern Flag Staffs

Thanks SG1. Took Jim's advice with the anchors. Front anchor needs adjustment. Need to see if I can get some better chain tension. It's harder with the Pontos resin support chains.

Thanks Jim, that is definingly doable. The other thing I was considering was to let them dangle from the chain. I would stagger the twin anchors against the hull, but maybe that would look dumb.

Looks impressive--and huge!! ref ,,, ,>>> The hawse pipe does not allow the anchor to come up through the channel. I don't know if you could grind a little to fix it or not.<<<< simple solution==> don't even think of grinding...! remove anchors-- keep the top of the stock shank attached to the chain - cut away a section of the shank => in the middle where it is invisible in the hawsepipe--- and then glue the ( maybe adjusted backs of ?) anchors into the anchor hawsepope mouth-- with white glue--to allow wriggle and adjust ( I do similar in 1/700 ) >>> I think the big cleats are on backwards too.<<< alas the fairleads seem indeed to be reversed. Most casual observers would not notice--but you did and I saw it too... They could removed at deck level with a micro saw/ sharp blade==> whilst there are no rails in place and swapped over ... or not...! As the casting base stands proud of the hull--if you did remove them-- and reinstalled and gap-filled with white gluer or similar--they could easily be repainted to match with a brush to the edge of the ' casting..'. Bon chance!

Greetings all. Crane painted and mounted The hawse pipe does not allow the anchor to come up through the channel. I don't know if you could grind a little to fix it or not. Not going to mess with at this stage. I think the big cleats are on backwards too. Micro Master Carley Floats added to middle turret.
