saw the big weather,I hope that the deck crew,has stowed greatly the helicopter :wink:

Started painting the water. After the base layers dry I'll add white caps then spray on some polish to give it that shine.

Very cool! I think my next project is another Rentz in line formation with the Russell. The only two ships I served on together to rest on my mantle.

Looking good! I am currently working on the same kit, except I am making it as the Reuben James, since I served on her. I don't have the guts to take on the water like you though.

Working on a FFG I was on in the Navy. I used the Academy USS REUBEN JAMES kit with WEM photo etch. I'm still a novice so there is tons of room for improvement. Right now I'm waiting for the silicone to cure. This is the first time I'm using this method to make water. After it is done curing I'm going to paint it and spray wax it to give it that real wet look.
