When I was a kid one of our local teachers had served on this ship prior to her loss in the Aegean so I've been meaning to build it for a while since the Tamiya E-class was issued. I can't fault this kit; a lovely model to build. I used some new lead-free fishing wire for the aerials: it went on straight but by next day it had started to warp so it's going to have to come off and be replaced by some pulled sprue.
