I've been trying to complete my collection for years.
I still need the following which never seem to come up for sale:-
Issues 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 142, 144, 147, 149.
Once I get the above I will have a complete collection.

Yes, its an excellent little publication although each issue can be a bit of a lottery if you have specific interests. I have every back issue relating to my interests (WWII corvettes and escorts in general) and that took quite a while to achieve, but occasionally past subscribers make their back issues available for sale and they are advertised on the end pages or back cover - well worth looking out for if you want to complete a set.

Just thought I'd let everyone know the latest edition of Warships No. 155 by the World Ship Society came yesterday.

It contains an excellent article by Dr. Ian Buxton on British Battleship Gun Mounting Construction in WW2.
It contained many excellent photos of KGV & Vanguard, amongst others underconstruction which I'd not seen before.

For those of you who are unfamilar with this journal it only costs about £13inc postage in the UK or £15 worldwide for an annual subscription which is 4 issues and it often contains many useful articles on all navies and for all periods but it is usually the Royal Navy predominantly.
