I have been looking thru Amazon and Barnes and Nobles at various how to books.
I would like some feedback on "Building Model Warships of the Iron and Steel Eras" by Peter Beisheim. Neither site has much information and no online look thru.
Additionally, are there other books that would provide me with information for scratch building techniques that would assist me with the following vessel?
U.S.S. Pittsburg (ACR-4)
Scale will be 1/96 and RC operation a must.
Additional information on picture sources beyond Navsource and the standard US Navy sites would be appreciated as well.
Research is going well and am very motovated after reviewing the builds on this site.
