Thank you for your comments!
Freedom is one of the few bigger modern ships with camouflage - some navies have their smaller ships camouflaged, e.g. the Chinese, Brazilian, Finnish, Indonesian, Norwegian, Swedish navies - and the US Navy for patrol boats. But non of their bigger ships...

USS Freedom (LCS-1) with camouflage (1/700, CyberHobby) |

Here photos of USS Freedom built using the CyberHobby (Dragon) kit: The kit is good, but all small details are overscale. The PE parts are also overscale, especially the MGs - and some, e.g. for the antenna behind the funnel, are also not included. The Seahawk is SH-60B by Trumpeter with added wings for Hellfire missiles and rotors by BJ-Modellbau to depict a MH-60R Seahawk. The Seahawk included in the kit has only a very remote similarity with the real one. I added a MQ-8 Fire Scout from the Coronado kit of CyberHobby (Dragon). I painted Freedom using Vallejo 151, 154, brightened 59, and 167. The decks are painted with Vallejo 159. http://www.modellmarine.de/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3540:amerikanische-fregatte-freedom-1700-dragon-von-lars-scharff&catid=112:lars
