Wonderful model Jean. I have this one in my collection along with the Pontos deck. If you had to do it over again would you use the wood deck? I can't make up my mind.
Thanks for sharing your work and wonderful pictures!

Steve, if you move to the WIP section, there you'll find my "Shokaku"! Thumb up for your "Saratoga", fantastic built! Cheers my friend, jean. :cool_2: :cool_2:

Ah yes! I'm watching your Shokaku with keen interest. Consider me your student.

I understand. Maybe next time you could try it the other way around, holding the plexi in place by the sea from the inside.

very good work indeed.
I only have one objection: the sea should be level with the frame. Right now it looks like you have a carrier in a giant pool. Is the any way to raise it?

Kalimera.
This is intentional as the plexyglass box will be held by the sides of the "pool". Cheers.

Hello Tim! Yes I've noticed that, but the pics in the complete model section were different and made a topic of their own. I am not the one who moved the WIP section there! Have a nice day, Cheers from France, Jean. :cool_2:

Counter nit: the wake doesn't show a great amount of speed, so the discharges CAN be vertical. :thumbs_up_1:
