I've had this project at 99% for a far while now, so thought I should put it up online, it'll probably motivate me to do those final small pieces.

USS Roosevelt DDG 80, is the second of the Flight IIA Arleigh Burke Destroyers built
The model has taken several years to build (on and off between the balances of life) and it is 99% complete now, it still needs a couple of ammo lockers and some rope near the ships boats, which I have been going to do for the last 12months, but just haven’t got round to it.
Hull - APS models semi kit, i.e. comes with fiberglass hull, CIWS, but superstructure, mast, decks etc are all hand.
Running gear - George Sitek custom made.
The hull can be separated in two for transport purposes if needed

The model has 2 x 12V batteries which power
1. 2 x Sagem watercooled motors
2. Working navigation lights
3. Rotating radars
4. Controllable gun
5. Live feed video camera (located above the bridge and rotatable 108 degrees) which transmits back to googles so you can drive the model from the bridge, literally.

As a separate project I would like to install FWD and AFT, a working VLS system.
