Topic review - Cardboard Carriers: CV-5 and Cv-60 in 1:700

So I was looking at Paul Budzik's build of CV-6 on his web page and was inspired by his technique of building a hull from scratch. I had the idea of making a representation of US aircraft carriers from old cardboard boxes. Obviously, I'm no modeller and the models are detail-lite, but I just wanted a size comparison between different types, kind of like the old identification models sets they used to have in WWII. Using the HNSA plans, I started with Saratoga CV-60 and then did CV-5 Yorktown. The deck height is not as precise as I want, but I'm quite pleased with this first attempt and it was fun building them.
