Hi,

back with some 3d pictures. Also trying "new" technologies to save some time. Hope to get it printed within the next 2 weeks or so.
Also in the planing is the main battery.

Bye :wave_1:

Polyurethane foam? We use that (Sikablock) at work to mill all appendages for our ship models.

Hi Dafi!

Great to see you around here. We should meet again after the COVID19 crisis!

How was the sailing trip?

I'm french, so sorry for my approximate English.
First of all, congratulations on your accomplishment... just incredible.

May be you can help me…
I also build the Bismarck in 1/100 and I would like to represent the weld lines on the hull... I saw some pictures on page 17 and 19 but some details are not clearly visible...
for example, I can't determine the width of the shielding plates on the side of the hull.
Another example, the weld line at the bottom of the hull passes below or above the side keel (Schlingerkiel)
many other welds that are actually invisible on the pictures...
Do you have the possibility to send me more pictures or direct me to the site where you found the pictures of the welds?
Thank you in advance for your help and I hope to see you soon.
Patrick

Bonjour Patrick,

sorry for the late answer. The Book "The Battleship Bismarck (Anatomy of The Ship)" contains infos on the weldlines and hull plating. As always just because information is published in a book doesn´t make it correct per se.

Hope your Bismarck is making progress. Please show some pictures of it. :wave_1:

Hi,

I am switching from 1/100 to 1/50 scale ... I don´t know if I will build the complete ship but I will start with the Vormars.

Hi Antonio,

drawing DOPPELBODEN UND STAUUNG contains info regarding the Bugschallanlage (active sonar). :wave_1:
