Author Message
Post subject:  Re: New Release from Blue Ridge Models  Reply with quote
Hi guys :wave_1:

I see a 1/350 USS Growler & Grayback on preorder .Is it a new release of the Blue Ridge 35005 kit or a complete new tool kit ?

Best regards

Pierre

I'd love to see Blue Ridge do a 1/700 SS America.

If it's worth two cents, I'll also urge a release of SSUS and America. I have an affinity for SSUS. Good in ANY scale.

Any news on a possible SS United States from Blue Ridge?

Glad to see it has finally landed and agree 1:350 would be great.

I've seen them both and the answer is no. Pavel's pattern looks good, but from what I've heard, the BRM masters were approved by the French Line.

SS America was one idea for a kit that I had, too. But I found no plans yet. That's the main problem when people suggest doing a certain kit.

The three in one kit is a great idea. Another one I would really go for would be the liner SS America. Could be another three in one kit as the original liner and then as the naval ship USS West Point and finally as a post war cruise ship.

Uh oh. Ok, just budgeted another + or - $250 in addition to comitting to buy the Normandie.

Any hints on an expected ETA for an SSUS?

No need to reveal anything. Maybe just a date you expect your tomatoes to ripen? :)

The next thing you know you'll be doing one of the swaybacks(Pensacola, Salt Lake City) and ruthlessly exploiting my addiction(s) to take even more of my money.

What an impressive kit! They certainly have done a magnificent job on this one! A very must-have kit! Still, why not 1/350?.... :eyebrows:
Anyway the 1/700 one is already over $200...1/350 might cost as much as a car.... :heh:

Sorry, Brandon, I gotta spill the beans.

BRM fully intends on doing an SS United States "Rustbucket Edition" in full cooperation with MIG Productions, intended to give today's modelers the "realistic" weathering expected on a Tiger tank! =D
