There is hardly a WW2 diorama that is complete without barrage balloons providing protection against air attack.

Check out these sets in my CLASSIC AIRSHIPS shop - they are now bigger and better value than ever. All are available in either 1/1250th or 1/1200th scale, with a choice of material and are priced at around $10 or less (click on the product name to go to the shop.):...

Normandy Invasion (D-Day and onwards) Balloons. Now as a set of NINE (was 6)

Allied, D7 Type Barrage Balloons. Now in a set of SIX (was 3)

US Type D-5. Set of FOUR (was 3)

I have remodelled all of these Barrage Balloons so that they can be produced more efficiently. They are held together in cages so that the printer"sees" them as one item and costs are consequently much lower. Models that were hollow are now solid and there are no unsightly sprue attachment points to have to clean off these small models.

Happy modelling!

Derek
