A gentle reminder to all. Please do not post the same objects in both Picture Post and CASF. Your builds should go in Picture post, unless it illustrates a part of the ship in question.

This area is meant as a collection point for information useful to modelers of certain ships or classes. It is meant for more in-depth discussion and more permanent storage.

Because of this, we have some requests.

* Title your thread properly. Any new thread that asks a specific question in the title or does not contain "calling all XXXX fans" will be moved, deleted, or taken out back and shot.

* If you post pictures or links to information, please do so for items you consider to be permanent. Do not post in-progress pictures you intend to remove from whatever server in a week or even a couple of months.

* These threads can get quite long and tough to wade through, so we ask that you refrain from TONS of "great job" responses to new picture posts. We're not saying don't do it, just that if 1-2 people have already done so think twice.

* Please post general in-progress photos of your builds in the Picture Post section unless you are only seeking to post the odd picture or two in order to better articulate concerns regarding accuracy issues, in which case the CASF section is fine.

* We reserve the right to delete off-topic posts or ones that don't generally contain usefull information in the future to keep thread size down.

Additionally, if you are going to use the quote button to reply to what someone wrote in a previous post, please edit out pictures and other extraneous text. The constant use of quoting entire posts in a short reply adds to the length of the threads.
