Next question: we got the big 5 from Trumpy, and the Texas and New York. Does anyone know: any chance of us ever getting a 1941 Oklahoma and a 1944 Nevada? :please:

If there is one battleship uglier than the Nelson, it would be Nevada with the bent crooked funnel extension.

What about the New Mexico's? Hardly see them mentioned!

Nah, they never did anything famous...

(Said facetiously... but only slightly: weren't at Pearl Harbor and none still exist. (Applies to Arkansas, too.) Not that I'd object, certainly! Heck, the weapons sprues from the Big 5 ships give them a head start on the NM class already!) But to Guest's point... yes, of the Pearl Harbor set, no love yet for the Nevada-class in injection! (Lindberg diorama set doesn't count)

Does anyone know: do you get any PE at all with the standard version?

Nope, no PE at all the the standard version (I freely admit that's fine by me! LOL!).

In the box is announced a 1:700 Scharnhorst! Anybody out there knows something about it?

Box-cover announcements like that are usually a good sign of an imminent release. But then, Flyhawk has made unannounced surprise releases like the PT boat, and MAS torpedo boat, both of which seem to have been in and out of production before anyone knew of them! Luckily, I seem to have gotten maybe the last remaining PT 109 - very nice tiny model, considering it's about 1 1/2 inches long! Hope they release S-Boats soon!

IBG posts pictures of their new releases, including ORP Garland, 1944. Atlantic escort fit, with hedgehog and brass huffduff. Which I am not looking forward to folding.

I just might have got the link wrong to get to Garland directly but look around, it's there.

I bought a Flyhawk 1:700 Königsberg two days ago. In the box is announced a 1:700 Scharnhorst! Anybody out there knows something about it?

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know! I'm enjoying working with the PE in my Flyhawk 1916 Lutzow.

There may be a very tiny PE fret, but certainly NO railings. It's "all or nothing"! I bought the Deluxe kit, used most of the PE, but only the brass main barrels.

On the Flyhawk Konigsberg: there's a standard version and a deluxe version with brass barrels and three frets of photoetch.

All the reviews I've seen have been of the deluxe version. Does anyone know: do you get any PE at all with the standard version? I'd like to get some PE, certainly the railings, but I can do without the barrels.

http://ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen ... _VH_14.htm shows it better, but it loks like the unfinished example is not different in size. I'll still get one.

Looks like Volker has taken a bunch of Titanic pics too. Some of you must like them.

This is interesting: http://ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen/Nuernberg2019/Bilder_VH/Aoshima_VH_12.htm

No, not the Exeter or Dorsetshire, but that photo of Norfolk in North Cape fit from Aoshima. Hope it doesn't have the underscale problems of the Dorsetshire.
