PayPal works straight from a bank account now as well as a credit card.

The problem is that I dont have any way to pay for the game, I dont have a credit card and my dad thinks everything online is a scam.

I personally think this game is of the calibre of paying perhaps 40 bucks once.

Surely you didnt expect the game to be free.

You have to remember this is a Korean game and it is over 4 years old. Japan, China and Korea have had this game in retail for a couple of years now and it is a great sucess.

7.99 USD is about 10 Can. Really, its the price of 6 large coffees a month. Its pretty cheap. Evercrack's base price is 15 or so and there is tons of addons.

My biggest worry is the lack of players, if I cant play when I want then the game is no good to me. Ive put in enough hours (lvl 51 Jap. BO, lvl 30 Jap TW BO and lvl 30 Brit BO) that I need to see if the game is going to fly.

Just so you know, BOs can't be traded.

I'll probably keep him on my account (lvl 44-45).

Exp gain is upped to 150% of what it is now, so if you got 1000xp in a battle now, you'll get 1500 after retail.

The price is too steep for the quality of the game and the amount of time necessary to get to a good ship/level. This program shafts the people like me who have been playing on and off for over 6 months. Most of my sailors are above level 30, so I have to pay. My other obligations prevent me from playing more than a couple hours a week now. I don't feel like 7.99 for a couple hours a month is worth it. For the same price and time investment, I can rent two movies, etc...

Mac

PS--If anyone wants my stuff let me know by PM before Sunday, Jan. 29 (this Sunday) EST. I have a variety of Japanese crewmembers and one British BO and two mid-20s gunners. I'd be happy to part with all my credits/points also.

Unfortunatly, the price is a tad too steep in my opinion...I won't be playing, except maybe as <lvl30 (Cuz it's free if you're under lvl 30). Have to all who chose to play! If anyone wants my stuff, just ask on the day before retail...

Edit: Retail delayed till February the 8th.
