You've put more detail into this 1/1250 scale kit than I am able to put into my 1/700 builds.......

Amazing. :thumbs_up_1:

The sand bags around the bridge is made by 0.2mm copper wire glue them together.
The copper wire is first cut into approximate length, about 2mm.
Then, cut a section of masking tape with width less than 2mm. Glue each copper wire onto the masking tape by superglue.
Since it is very hard to cut all the copper wire with exactly the same length. Therefore, when you glue them onto masking tape, remember align one end, leave the other ends (some longer, some shorter). I hope you understand what I mean.
After glued the copper wire onto the masking tape, cut "some longer some shorter" end making them all with the same length.
Then paint it by airbrush (recommended), and use a fine point black ink pen to make some black dot on each copper wire, they will look alike a bunch of tiny sandbags !!!
Finally, just glue them around the bridge.

Yes, I did paint the aircrafts myself, they are all manufactured by Cap Aero, and the propeller photo etch I bought from a UK online shop long time ago (forget which shop)

Cheers

The Neptun Akagi is a great model, but now mine seems incomplete in comparison.

I'd appreciate a rundown of the work and how it was done, if you are willing to share. Especially how you got the details added around the bridge to still have good definition in 1/1250.

Did you paint each aircraft yourself? what manufacturer's aircraft did you use?
