All:
I am building the beautiful YG Russian Grigorovich class frigate kit in 1/700. It is really first rate. Casting is sharp and clean, lots of PE detail. The only/only drawback as far as I can tell so far is that the PE railing is a bit heavy. I will probably replace these with the railings from the GMM modern Soviet warship set.
A question: the master-maker used what is clearly an incorrect pattern for the vents on the top of the funnel. Would anyhow have any good photos of the inside of the funnel on the Grigorovich or her sister, the Admiral Essen, or any of the Indian Talwar class frigates which are export versions of the ship?
The best I have come up with is this drawing which would seem to show two rows of three oval vents, followed by round uptakes (please ignore the red circle around the platform forward of the funnel):
