My pleasure, Greg. I have a soft spot for them too, rebuilt Tennessee and WeeVee are both waiting in stash.
In fact, I can't decide what is going to be the third build - what would be your choice? TX('45), AZ('41), TN('44), CA('41), WV('41), WV('45), NC('44), WA('42), MA('45), IA('44), MT('???) or Vittorio Veneto('40)? Except for them, I have NV('44), PA('44) and NM('41), but I don't want to start them because there is a chance Steve Larsen issues superstructure replacements in the meantime. Or maybe Lex('42), Sara(44'), Big-E('44), Hornet('42), Big Ben('45) or Tico('44)?

Thank you for the quick response, David. I really enjoyed this build thread. The rebuilt BIG 5 are some of my favorite battleships. Hope to see another new build from you soon....

Greg, regarding your questions... - Rigging: UNI Caenis 20 Denier thread. Apart from being really thin, as a syntetic mono thread, it can be heat-tightened really nicely (I am using a heated scalpel blade) - Paints: Verticals (5-N): Testors Model Master 5-N Navy Blue (Acrylic, Semi Gloss, #4867)Horizontals (20-B): Sovereign Hobbies Colourcoats 20-B Deck Blue; Rev. 1942 (Flat, Enamel, #US10)Filters: Umton Oil colours (a Czech brand) As Model Masters are semi-gloss, I applied Gunze C182 Flat Clear after. I really recommend Model Masters, please see viewtopic.php?f=69&t=166707.

Okay, as the forward halyards are done, most of the secondary battery could be installed as well (except for the sternmost turrets). Onto the aft halyards now... Attachment:
