I do not know how I dealt with it, but this is the end of what should have been HMS Nelson 1944 in 1/700 scale. There are not many small items here, but I can not show them on this scale. It came out as I could do it.

I want to thank all those who helped me and suggested. I assure you that even if I did not use someone's suggestion (because of financial or other reasons), they were for me some hint and advice, suggesting a different solution.
Moderators, please move my last post from "Works in Progress" to the right place. I'm sorry, but I can not do it
Greetings :wave_1:

As you can see in the pictures below, the shipyard
works in normal mode ...

But that would not be so nice, the side booms I have to do it myself, because what Trumpeter gave as a PE is not appropriate, unless to hold a spiderweb

Because there are sides and deck of the ship, you can close the "chest". Now in front of me the tedious and slow equipment of what I've done, and what a warship called HMS Nelson is supposed to ...

Guys, I'm very happy that someone noticed my mistake and helps me fix it.Thank you very much!
My maneuvering possibilities are limited only to the combination between the paints I have and their mixing.Advise, please, what should I do with these colors (lighten, darken) ... First, blue ...so the letters "a" and "b"....
Image
And gray number 1,2,3 and 4...
Image
I will mix these colors according to your instructions, :thumbs_up_1: until I get something that can be used without major reservations...Help me

Hi,

Before you get too far, I think maybe your grey looks quite dark for G45

It should look quite light, especially in the sunlight.

I tell you now because I think you will struggle to get a good look with the darker blue panel on the hull if the grey is too dark. From your photos, the grey looks like it is closer to the old understanding of 507B grey. That is the same tone as the darker blue on the hull will be, so either you will need a very dark blue and the whole thing will look too dark, or you won't get the contrast between the blue panel and everything else.

David, my very poor knowledge of the English language means that I can not understand everything exactly.I'm sorry for you, but that's why I do not understand what's going on:
"Cezary, I prefer masking tape not painters tape to close seams & joints while the glue cures."
I hope I have not written anything stupid or offensive

David, me too, of course, but there is no glue here. It's just a try "dry"

According to the suggestion StevenVD and DavidP I compared Nelson's design and appearance from 1944 and earlier. To apply camouflage from 1942-1943, a lot of changes in the construction and equipment of the model would have to be made. I do not have enough experience and skills to do it the right way. I'm too weak modeler. So I have to stay with the camouflage as given by Trumpeter. I am sorry for all the confusion, mea culpa, mea culpa mea maxima culpa ...

Dick and I have been working on illustrations of the camouflage scheme since early February. It's not finished yet though so I am reluctant to share it at the moment. I am reasonably comfortable with the 1942 version of it, but the late 1943-early 1944 version needs more critique. The scheme definitely evolved though.

Thanks guys, I'll look and maybe I can do something about it ... I'm whispering some more detailed scheme of such a camouflage from all sides and from above. How exactly did it look like? Maybe someone has this and can share or show me where I can see. I can not find this in google
