Agree ,hardly know about those aircraft carriers,but clearly lots of job was done and stunning results ,well done!!!

Here it is all finished. The best part of 18 months of building, scrapping, re-building, 3 or 4 sets of photo etch to get certain pieces and two set of decals to get it where it is today. It started life as a Gallery models intrepid kit, the deck was fully scratch built, the starboard elevator re-located, the island is from Steve at Model Monkey, the antenna mast is fully scratch built. This is the second ship I have ever built, my first being Tamiya's 1/350 New Jersey.
I have to send a massive thank you to Jodie Peeler, who without this would not have turned out the way it has.
While it has some inaccuracies I am happy with the outcome.
