Photos of the port side of Edinburgh in her final scheme taken from USS Wasp in April 1942 show 4 tones. Those photos and others taken in Russia and when sinking also show detail differences to tone/layout/shape of camouflage panels compared to what is drawn on p26 of WP2. Hi Richard, I confess I haven't studied it too much but the sinking photos portray some rather beat-up paint work but still I wasn't sure I was seeing the same thing as WP2 p26 as you say. You may have inspired me to look more closely...

If I recall correctly, Alan Raven's "Warship Perspectives, Camouflage Vol. 2: Royal Navy 1942" (I think that's the volume) has a line drawing of Edinburgh in her final camouflage.
If I recall correctly, Alan Raven's "Warship Perspectives, Camouflage Vol. 2: Royal Navy 1942" (I think that's the volume) has a line drawing of Edinburgh in her final camouflage.

A question of HMS Edinburgh camo |

Hello, friends, I'd like to ask if somebody of you knows anything about camo scheme and colors of HMS Edinburgh on her last action in April - May 1942? I've been searching a long time, but I've found nothing. Thank you in advance!
