Yes, there is either black or navy green in the 1945 picture of LCSL3.
Which one for sure, I dont know. I'd guess Navy Green.

The two lighter shades should be ocean green and haze/pale green to my eye.

The paints I've used in the past;

5NG Navy Green FS34086 Model Master
5OG Ocean green Colorcoats US19
5HG Haze green Colorcoats US17

Best,

Paul

Hello Paul,

Many thanks for your answer!

Isn’t there black, dark green and lighter green in this picture of the LCS(L)-3?

I can’t tell if the darkest color is black or a very dark green?

And have you some reference of these colors in RAL or FS standart?

Many thanks for your help !

Alain, that pic LCSL3 is one of my favorites.

While the measure you reference, 33/14L, contains only two colors, whatever LCSL3 is painted in the
pic is a "take off" of that measure in 3 colors. Navy Green, Ocean Green and Haze/Pale Green would
be my guess.

You're gonna have to use your artistic licence for the port side. But the drawing is a good guide.

Best,

Paul

Hello,

I made 2 screenshots of a video game on Youtube featuring an LCS(L) with some camouflage :

Do you think these drawings are reliable and can be used as a basis?

Thanks in advance for your answer

Hello,

Thanks you very much for the link.
The pattern is that of the camouflage Measure 33 design 14-L but I do not have the impression that the contours correspond with those of the photo.
I tried to do a search on this site but I couldn’t find anything else for the LCS(L).

Another proposal ??!!

There are a couple of camo schemes shown on the Naval History and Heritage Command website. Maybe one of these is the measure in the photo:

Hello everybody,

I’m still looking for a new model to do.
I’d like to build a navy US ship with a colorful camouflage.
I like the LCS(L), I have the Floating Drydock plan. Can anyone tell me what type of camouflage is in this photo and if you know of a port/starboard pattern of this camouflage :

Many thanks in advance
