Hi and here are some photos I have taken of my model of HMS Cambrian. I have just finished the construction, having started her some four years ago. The model is to 1:192 scale. The model depicts this ship as she was at the end of 1944 into early 1945.

The construction is a balsa hull plated with litho. This is thin aluminium and is excellent to replicate the ship's plating. The decks are plasticard. The deckhouses are a mix of balsa and plasticard, plated with litho. The various fittings, armament and so forth are a mix of metal and plastic. The boats are balsa, carved inside and out to shape.

Happy to answer any questions.
