Just clicked on the Navy pre-June 1965 link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35033278@N ... 352040586/There are seemingly hundreds of amazing color photos from around 1960 around Boston and NY, with many wartime and 50s ships, including battleships, cruisers, carriers and escort carriers, loads of destroyers, auxilliarys and coast guard ships, many photos of ships in conversion or extended maintenance, and great atmospheric shots of the dockayards. Make sure to click on the Flickr links UNDER each photo of the BNY, right click the image and click "original" for the high-res versions Nice find man, thanks for sharing. Now I have even more diorama ideas...thanks PS, look through the rest of 25k photos on Flickr if you want more eye candy guys!
