This month's issue of Sea History (#185, Winter 2023-24) has an interesting update on the current preservation work being undertaken to replace extensive rot in the hull of HMS VICTORY. This preservation work has been ongoing since 2022 and is much more extensive than earlier thought. The article (pg. 65) details what has been found and how it's being addressed by the ship's conservators.
