Dick, you are correct.

FFG, if there's a specific CASF thread for KM torpedo boats I didn't see it in that forum. Point me to it and I'll be glad to redirect.

EDIT: Thanks to Martin, here we are on a new dedicated thread.

Closer reading of what's on the WWW makes it very probable that all type 35s were rebuilt with the new bow in early 1941. T3 had been sunk at Brest in 1940, but raised in 1941 and rebuilt. Based on the work to be done as shown here

I expect the bow mod would have been done as well.
So, wartime schemes for the Flyhawk kit are limited to 9/39 to early 1941. I have the excellent Leon & Asmussen "German Naval Camouflage" volume 2, which has several color profiles of type 35s in that time frame.

I don't think he is talking about type 35 torpedo boats as it would mean it was posted in wrong forum so we shall wait & see.

I think he is talking about a torpedo boat rather than a fleet destroyer. There was a type 35 torpedo boat.

are you certain it is type 35 & not type 36 as this link does not show type 35? http://www.german-navy.de/kriegsmarine/ ... index.html
could make 1 model pre-war with original bow & the 2nd with Atlantic bow.

Just got the Flyhawk kit of two DKM type 35s. A bit disappointed that Flyhawk uses the original bow, rather than the raked "Atlantic" bow retrofitted during WWII; but a lovely kit anyhow.
Did all of this class receive the new bows at some point?
TIA
