How do you get the glass cut to size? Thanks. _Jon
The dealer will cut it to your specifications, at least here.

Most cities have a plastics company that can make these as well- I go through a local one for all my cases. I just call them up, give them the internal dimensions I require and in a few days- it's ready.

Also, check into local trophy shops- they make custom cases all the time.

You can order cases from many different places. I get many of mine from Micro Mark. This case for my 1/350 Saratoga was made my Mirco Mark. They can, however, get pricey.

Another solution is to go with an acrylic case, like the one's sold by the Cases for Collectibles website.

A third option is to make your own base and then just order the acrylic top from either a micro mark or cases for collectibles. There are numerous places on the internet where you can shop for just an acrylic cover.
Just what I was looking for.. though Micro MArk says they are discontinued by the manufacturer! The search goes on! Thanks again.

How to Display my 1/350 scale carrier?

I'm finishing up my 1/350 scale carrier and was looking for some expert opinions on mounting the ship. I'm not making a Diorama or anything fancy, just wanted a clear plastic or glass case? Anyone know any good source for such a thing? OR have experience building one from scratch? Any help would be appreciated.

Jon
