Got my kit today. Really nicely made to go with the fast shipping. I probably need another one.

Got mine ordered, it means a lot of the work I’ve done on mine is most likely a waste but better chance it gets built as I’m getting old.

Thank you for posting the link, Timmy. I forgot to add that. This model is very different from the World of Warships representation which took many liberties with the final design. Personally, I think the original design is more pleasing as well as being historically correct. The extra parts we included are more superficial - radar antennas, 20mm and 40mm guns - that don't change the basic design like WoW did.

Dan is correct. We brought several to the IPMS National Show in Fort Wayne IN last week and they all went home with intrigued modelers!

Also might want to include in the product description that this is represented in the game World of Warships as the Gouden Leeuw in case any players go searching and want a physical model of their own.

A bunch of these were on the table at the NATS. A good looking design.

We have a new, 3D printed kit available now - Design 1047. This is the final design prepared for the Royal Netherlands Navy's battlecruisers before the German invasion ended all work on them. Three of these 11" gunned ships were to be built for the defense of the East Indies. The waterline-only kit has a full set of photo etch parts included as well as two Northview Foundry 3D printed Fokker C.XI w float planes. Also included are 3d parts and photo etch parts (such as extra 40mm and 20mm guns and radars) to "customize" the kit as if it had experienced an upgrade in a US or British shipyard as many RNN ships actually did.
