Well, not this stuff in particular Jason but I learned that clear coat for fingernails makes a perfect glue when it comes to windows for bridges for example.

I file the glass of the window to the right size and put it in the frame. I fix the window simply by painting the backside of it with the clear coat and this stuff wanders a bit into the gaps providing a perfect surface at the inner side. It even wipes out (small) fingerprints in case you forget cleaning it beforehand.

I will try my hands on what you described. Sounds great, thanks for sharing that.

Maybe I'm just a day late and a dollar short, but I have stumbled upon what I think is one of the MOST effective ways to fill a seam. I admit, I am a newcomer to the hobby still, so if you have heard of this before, then..well...my bubble will be officially burst.

While looking at my beautiful CIC's, expensive set of finger nails, I couldn't help but to wonder what she will do when they grow out. So, I asked her how the "Nail People" fill her nails. She explained to me that they use some sort of liquid that they dip a brush into, then dip into an acrylic powder substance. This creates small ball of plyable paste. The ball of paste then is brought over to the nail, and placed onto the nail, then pushed into the gap to fill it. It dries in a few minutes, then filed to perfection.

So, I asked my wife if this stuff could be bought at a regular store. That night she came home with this stuff she bought from Walmart for like 6 bucks. I'm telling you this stuff works AMAZING! There is virtually NO mess. It is very plyable, and unlike putty, when you get it on the outside of the seam, you can simply use your finger to wipe it off. If forms very nicely into any small crevice. When it hardens, it is completely sandable. It even comes with a small brush and double sided sanding stick!! The only downside that I can see to this stuff is that it is VERY pungent. You know the smell. It's the smell of a nail salon. Extremely toxic smelling, so use good ventalation.
