Hi , I use JOHN R. HAYNES products exclusively on client models.I have the client order what they need and send them to me for final assembly and detailing.

Having used John's 1/192 Bofors tubs PE set with ammo racks I can tell you they are nothing short of superb. Highly recommended.

No pictures, but I did purchase a set of HR products 40mm. I haven't put them together but I am not to impressed with them. There is a large amount of flash (I don't know if this is an acceptable term for metal castings, but it best describes them). The barrels where bent and they also didn't come with instructions....

I have no idea on Sirmar fittings, I have never seen any of them.....

I will probably be buying the John R Haynes 40mms for my next two ships that need them. These pictures are from the FD website....

Anyone have any pro/cons for each of the following kits and a pic of them after production?

John R Haynes(Been Told They are the Best to use)

Sirmar- Hear They have great Barrels

HR Products- Couple guys say they are really good as well.
