That's big news! I expect that since the wreck is a war grave that nothing can be done down there without Australian Government approval?
In any case, with modern technology, the wreck can be examined in close detail and we shall know for sure what was the cause of the sinking with little or no trace.
My guess is that fire reached a magazine and she went down in a minute.
If the Germans are to believed, she was on fire and powerless when last seen.
