The Italeri instructions call for Light Ghost grey above the waterline; would that be the "Grigio Chiaro (Light Gray)" that WEM has as RM 02?

Any ideas as to whether black would be correct for the anti-fouling?

How's this for a bump?

OK, so I have one of these little things now.. initial construction was pretty easy, albeit the fit of the two hull halves leaves a little to be desired. Not bad, but not Tamiya.

I do have some questions though.. hopefully not difficult ones.

I tend to prefer models of things with operation history... so I'd like to do one of the boats that hit YORK. Recognizing that markings may be forever lost to history, I'd like to focus more on the boat for now. The Italeri documentation refers to early and late versions, and I can see differences in the cockpit of the model versus the photos supplied with the kit and Rui's gallery. Am I to presume the kit is either an early or late version?

What about colors; would the anti-fouling color be black? No one else does Italian paints that I know of, so what would be a good equivalent?

Hello

Just to share with you a walkaround on a MTM Barchino, one of the exibits at the Museo Storico Navale, in Venice - Italy!
For those who are interested in the future release from Italeri, or those who already have the New Model System one.
Hope this helps...
