From a few books I've read by Royal Navy sailors, they mention several different types and colors of this Corticene. I agree that finding the right deck colors for warship models is sometimes very hard. Especially big capital ships. I've looked at all the photos in my naval reference books and although these decks are clearly shown in some photos, the black and white photos + the light and shade make picking out the shade of grey impossible. They are simply a much darker grey than the upper works.

sometimes i should better look twice to a Post. Your Question was about Colors of Platforms above the Deck Level.
The References i got dosnt say very much about it. Only the Fact that those Platforms was a little more dark as the Hull.
There was two Kinds of Dark Grey. One very Dark Grey was painted at the POMPOM Platform near the forward Funnel. All other Platforms (including the Boat Deck) was also in a darker grey as the Hull, but not such dark as near POM-POM.

During the Battle in Danmark Street POW had no complicated Cammo-Sheme. She was grey over all and had a single UP-Mount at Turret B (second from Bow) and a Twin UP Mount at Turret Y (Rear Turret).
The Cammo was painted during a small Refit in late August 41 in Scapa.
During the Post-Battle-Refit in Rosyth (Juni/July 1941) the UP-Throwers abandoned the Ship and additional POM-POM MK VI took Place. (2x single Mounts at B and Y)

The Question: in what colour was painted the deck of superstructures? in such either as lateral surfaces?
